Well the past 5 weeks sure have been interesting.
It started with my 3 week visit to my Dad’s place in New York State, the first week of June. I’ve been blessed with another brother, and I got to spend a little bit of time with him. I also got to see my sister, but I’m less than thrilled to say the least. Moving on, I then spent another week in my hometown before packing up my year of a life there, and moving back out to Vancouver. I arrived on the 30th and I’ve been on the go ever since.
The boyfriend and I had a day of shopping with Trouble and her boyfriend in preparation for 6 days of SLURREY camping. The shopping went well but the camping was fantastic. It rained a little too much for my liking, but the area was beautiful and I was with great friends that I missed over the past year.
Since camping I’ve been out and about, and looking for an apartment before school starts. I looked at one today that I absolutely fell in love with, and the view from the backyard is amazing. It’s not in the best of neighborhoods, but this place has just been calling out to me. Hopefully things go well *crosses fingers*.
If the last 5 weeks show anything, it’s that there is no slowing down. I’ve still got to register for school and loans on Monday, get my transcript sent to my new school, get this paperwork to the landlord of the apartment, and get planning the costume and help decorate for our 80s party, Friday night.
I’ll be back when the time is right. And who knows, maybe you’ll see me on yahoo when I decide to take a break
